Security

• A latershare can only be accessed when the 35 digit, unique participant ID is known (Example of a UUID: 12CF61E7-7522-400F-86B5A8A7F40EE113). This cannot be guessed and secures the latershare when using SSL/HTTPS very well.
  HTTPS establishes an underlying SSL connection before any HTTP data is transferred. This ensures that all URL data (also these UUIDs) is carried solely within this encrypted connection and is protected from middle man attacks in the same way that any HTTPS data is.
• The admin-link for managing the latershare is also made up of a special 35 digit, unique ID, which is only known to the initiator.
• The website can be used with SSL encryption, which we recommend for sensitive topics.
